Ernest ‘Bry’ Breyfogle, age 58, of 403 West 8th Street, died July 21, 2012, at the Boone County Hospital.

A Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall from 6 to 8 p.m. where the family will be present to greet friends. A Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m.

Following the visitation, his body will be cremated.

Ernest was born in Storm Lake, Iowa, on December 17, 1953, the son of Joan (Rosch) and his stepfather Merle Galbraith.

He graduated from Rembrandt High School in Rembrandt, Iowa.

On October 19, 1974, Bry married Audrey Halligan at Moorland, Iowa.

He was parts/purchasing manager for Davis Ag Equipment in Johnston where he was employed since 1995.

Bry enjoyed vegetable gardening, feeding and watching birds and wildlife, being on the computer, working around the house, and cooking.

In earlier years, he and Audrey did home canning.

Bry is preceded in death by his mother and a sister Paulette.

He is survived by his wife Audrey of Boone; a son Chad Breyfogle and wife Laurie of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter Brandi Breyfogle of Panama City, Florida; a granddaughter Amelia Noel Breyfogle; his stepfather Merle Galbraith and wife Phyllis of Sioux Rapids; a sister JoAnn Breyfogle of Storm Lake; and several nieces and nephews.

In memory of Bry, memorials may be directed to the family.
