Obituary for Lucinda "Cindy" Kay Biladeau

Lucinda “Cindy” Biladeau, 69, of Boone and the Eastern Star Masonic Home, died August 30, 2017 at the Masonic Home.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., at Augustana Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Boone.

Lucinda Kay (Olson) Biladeau, was born February 21, 1948 in New Town, North Dakota, the daughter of Kolbjorn and Elmie (Annala) Olson. In 1966, she graduated from New Town High School. On June 11, 1966, Lucinda was united in marriage to James Allen Biladeau in New Town. Cindy was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, rural Boone.

Cindy was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed all things children, especially her children, Jim and Cory, her grandchildren, Alexa, Easton, and Dokken, and her many nieces and nephews. She loved helping people in need find an education and a guiding hand through life’s trials. Cindy had a very strong faith, and would be found volunteering at her church. She also enjoyed cooking, canning, and dancing.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Jim of Boone; two sons, Cory (Pam) Biladeau of St. Paul, MN; and Jim (Shelly) Biladeau Jr. of Altoona,; three grandchildren, Alexa, Easton and Dokken Biladeau; three sisters, Joan Decker of Seattle, WA, Kristy (Galen) Halvorson of New Town, ND, and Carolyn (Cliff) Mehl of Oak Grove, CA; five brothers-in-law, Paul (Donna) Bushore of Norman, OK, Rick (Deb) Bushore of San Diego, CA, Barney (Deb) Bushore of Newton, Mike (Peg) Bushore of Iowa Falls, and Doug (Lori) Bushore of rural Jewell; four sisters-in-law, Jeannie (Bob) Backous and Rose (George) Bielfelt all of Boone, Joan (Mark) Anderson of Stratford, and Bette (Tim) Maybee of Iowa Falls.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenny Olson; mother-in-law, Edith Bushore and father-in-law, Marvin Bushore.

Friends may call at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall, on Wednesday, September 6, from 5 until 8 p.m. and on Thursday at the Augustana Lutheran Church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
